We're open Tuesday through Sunday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Closed on Mondays for animal care and sanctuary maintenance. Admission is $14 for adults, $9 for children (ages 3-12), and free for toddlers under 3. We offer family passes (2 adults + up to 3 children) for just $38. Annual memberships start at $89 and include unlimited visits plus exclusive perks.
Absolutely! Our geese are domesticated breeds raised with love and daily human interaction. They are gentle, curious, and enjoy being around people. All interactions are supervised by our trained staff to ensure safety for both visitors and geese. Children especially love hand-feeding them under guidance. We provide protective smocks and hand sanitizer at all interaction stations.
Our adoption program is designed to find loving forever homes for rescued geese. The process includes: (1) an application and interview, (2) a home visit to ensure suitable space (minimum 200 sq ft outdoor area with shelter), (3) a 4-hour training session on goose care, and (4) a 30-day trial period with full support. The adoption fee is $75 per goose, which covers vaccinations, microchipping, and a starter kit. We provide lifetime guidance and veterinary referrals.
Yes! Our Honk & Nosh Café offers farm-fresh sandwiches, salads, pastries, and beverages. We use locally sourced ingredients, and many items feature our own farm-fresh goose eggs (seasonally). 2. Sanctuary Rules
All visitors must follow staff instructions at all times. Feeding geese is only permitted with provided feed in designated areas. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone violating sanctuary rules.
3. Bookings & Cancellations
Bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled visit. Late cancellations may incur a 50% fee. No-shows are non-refundable. Group bookings (10+ people) require 48-hour cancellation notice.
4. Liability
While our geese are domesticated and friendly, all animal interactions carry inherent risk. By visiting, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Happy Goose Haven maintains comprehensive liability insurance for all sanctuary activities.
5. Photography
